Content marketing

My content marketing experience ranges from copywriting and reports, to newsletter copy and design, social media and content management. I have experience working directly with brands, and with agencies.

My clients have included Immediate Media, Formula 1, Canvas8, Obicà and OLIVER. I’ve worked with clients to produce brochures, direct marketing, email newsletters, advertorials, social media posts, internal communications, conference materials and digital advertising. I have produced content for high-profile brands in the life insurance, wellbeing, motor and luxury education sectors.

I designed, implemented and wrote newsletter copy to relaunch two newsletters while I worked as a staffer at Eye to Eye Media. I managed and grew Healthy Food Guide’s social media strategy and scheduling, not only through a mix of undeniably witty recipe copy and enticing competitions, but by leading on new video content. I also co-ordinated the title’s annual Food & Drink Awards for three years.

At BMI Healthcare, I managed the day-to-day running of the large and complex website, wrote SEO-led service pages and editorial, and co-ordinated web content projects and video production.

Other commercial work includes national advertorial campaign copywriting for Immediate Media, workplace wellbeing copy for Everyday Juice, and social media content strategy for Obicà, who serve very nice mozzarella.

I regularly write food and drink-related industry case studies for behavioural insights agency, Canvas8. One commission led me to discover (and immediately love) Bon Appétit Test Kitchen, for which I’ll always be grateful.

As a slight departure from health and food, I recently polished up my Grand Prix knowledge as a quiz script fact checker for Formula 1’s Grill the Grandstand series. Nigel Mansell officially had the best facial hair in sport.
